Before I ever picked up a paintbrush professionally, I spent my career telling stories through a different lens—as a writer and producer of educational videos and television documentaries. That background deeply shapes how I look at a canvas today. I don’t just paint a subject; I look for the compelling story beneath the surface.

Whether it is a classic portrait, a sweeping landscape, a quiet still life, or a bold abstract piece, my goal is always to create a visual narrative that draws you in and invites you to feel the emotion of the moment.

Living in San Diego, it’s impossible not to be moved by the striking beauty of the bay and the raw power of the Pacific Ocean. As a proud member of the prestigious San Diego Watercolor Society, the shifting light over the coastal waters constantly inspires my palette.

Lately, my work has evolved into the realm of abstract art, allowing me to strip away the literal and focus purely on the movement, texture, and emotional turbulence of our times.
