The Figurehead

Inspiration: Walking by the waterfront one afternoon, I came upon what I thought was a very old schooner called The Surprise. I was stopped by the lovely maiden figurehead on the bow of the ship and I imagined the wonderful adventures she must have seen in her life at sea. Little did I know, this ship is a replica of an old schooner that was built to film in a Johhny Depp movie called Pirates of the Caribbean. She definitely fooled me!
